Cesar Manrique was an architect held in high regard on the island who had a huge impact on the development of many buildings and structures. In the town of Nazaret, you can visit Omar Sheriff’s home which is called LagOmar. It is often described as stunning – having been designed by Manrique. There are many find restaurants in the area surrounding it. You might also want to visit the Manrique Foundation, which was Cesar Manrique’s actual home that was built in five volcanic bubbles. It also houses many works of art that were created by Manrique. You really have to see it to believe it.
There are also many other things to see in Lanzarote. For instance, you might enjoy taking a snorkeling or diving tour to see the marine life around the island. You could also jump onto a guided tour if you are worried about missing something. A guided tour will allow you to enjoy the most in the smallest amount of time. You may also want to take time to visit any one of the many white sands beaches that stretch along the outside of the island. There is no doubt that you will never run out of things to see during your vacation.
